Viewing Who's online

Sometimes when viewing who's online I see MSNbotspider or Googlespider. What is that and/or what do they mean?

These are data archiving scripts that browse sites and save the data for archiving into thier respective directories such as MSN or Google.

When you search on Google, the data you get back is data collected by these little critters. Sometimes referred to as bots, spiders or crawlers.

The more that crawl our site, the more data that they'll have for Google and the better our ranking will be when you search for us on Google.
